That is the title of this recent article by MNArtists.org music writer Jeremy Walker (link below). I’ll sum up by saying that this was a brilliant article, discussing the state of genres and titles for music, with a focus on jazz. I’ll go out on a limb and say that all these thoughts can be directly applied to dance, too 🙂 Take a couple moments for this, your brain and soul will be glad you did;
