It’s back! The outtakes have been picked up off the cutting room floor, and the revamped Reeling Over Love is ready to debut to audiences February 16-19, 2012 at the Ritz Theater! One of the Eclectic Edge Ensemble’s first forays into danced stories of satire, the reworking of this popular show brings back favorite pieces and pairs them with new moments of pursuit, betrayal and forgiveness. Brought to life by memory-filled favorite tunes and original cinematic score written by local composers Josh Kramer, and Brian Erickson (who will be performing live), Reeling Over Loveexplores the many differences and sometimes similarities between real world and silver screen love. EEE strives to create stylistic, musical and varied performances, and the highly-comedic Reeling Over Love sure fits the bill; it will make um’ laugh, cry, roll their eyes and remember that dance can be just plain fun.
Want to see awesome TC rhythm-driven dance make it’s way into the hearts of people beyond our fair cities? We’ve got an easy opportunity for you; this Thursday, take a couple of minutes to post on the Facebook wall of the Ellen Degeneres show, asking her to take Rhythmic Circus onto her show. Who knows? Maybe this online promotion-mob will get some results! Visit Ellen here. Want more info about this storm? Facebook event here.
Groove on, folks!
